Flight of the Kelvins demonstrates not only the true scale of Nano Technology but also the potential benefit of its use in our lives - especially in Nano Medicine. Smaller than microscopic, nano medicine allows diagnosis and treatment of illnesses that are faster, more reliable and less invasive than previous techniques.
In this free standing, arcade-style exhibit - Flight of the Kelvins allows the player to become the main character, Kelvin. Kelvin is nano-sized! So when the body becomes infected, his mothership releases him and his nanobot into the body to fight the infection. With the ability to scan and identify many elements of the game world, players can strategically target all of the bad pathogens, while leaving the healthy cells unharmed.
This exhibit is sure to entertain while it educates.
