The new booking system makes it easier for you to browse and book resources, as well as track your order history and benefit from loyalty and referral programs.
New Users
Browsing and Booking
Crates and exhibits are organized with tabs that let you choose grades and topics. As well, a quick-search feature lets you search by topic or key word.
You can check availability for the resources you need, and if something isn’t available, we’ll suggest other available dates or products.
Your booking page will also let you track and modify your bookings, see your booking history and print receipts. From your My Bookings page, you can also access activity guides before your resource arrives, so you can prepare in advance.
Programs
We’re excited to announce two new programs for dedicated users.
Referral Program
Refer five people to www.bookings.sciencealberta.org and get a free booking. To refer a friend, simply provide them with your referral ID number, which you will find on your My Bookings page. When they enter the code to book a crate, you receive credit for a referral. Once 5 referrals have booked an item each, the system will notify you of your free booking.
Loyalty Program
2009-2010 school year - book five crates between October 7, 2009 and August 31, 2010, and receive one free booking.
The system will automatically track your orders and award you a gift certificate for a complimentary booking.
